DIDI LARI: A Collection of Wines Born in the Mountains.

The history of the DIDI LARI brand begins with the 500 lari banknote, which depicts King David IV the Builder holding a scroll in his right hand and the Gelati Monastery in his left. This unique national treasure became a numismatic rarity and the inspiration for creating the DIDI LARI brand.

The mission of DIDI LARI is similar to that of King David IV, who fought for the freedom and dignity of his people. We have set ourselves the goal of winning in the alcohol market. But how do we plan to do it?

DIDI LARI wines are produced mainly from Georgian grape varieties – Saperavi and Rkatsiteli. The bold flavours and aromas typical of Georgian varieties are harmoniously complemented by European varieties (Aligoté, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bastardo, Merlot), adding refinement and elegance to the vibrant Georgian wine style.

Besides grape juice, it involves the skins, seeds, pulp and even grape stems, giving the future wine intense colour, rich aroma and an unmatched taste. (For reference. European wine style excludes seeds and stems at the grape pressing stage, resulting in a lighter wine).
