Ambassadors of Wine Taste: Paris Premiere of Villa UA

VILLA UA demonstrated its resilience and potential during the unique event "Vignoble et Vin en Résistance", which took place in Paris thanks to the joint efforts of the Embassy of Ukraine in France, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the "Ukrvinprom" corporation,  and partnership with Nazovni.

The pages of the Ukrainian wine industry's history opened properly during "Vine & Wine in Resistance": participants had the opportunity to view video materials illustrating the life of our winemakers during difficult times and the process of restoring Ukrainian wine estates.

This event was more than just a wine presentation. It was a journey into the past that gave France the best samples of Ukrainian wine.

At the event, all participants had the opportunity for the first time to taste wines from renowned Ukrainian brands, including Villa UA wines, which were selected by the tasting commission as "Ambassador Wines 2023” and presented at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The presentation at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in Paris was an important step for the Ukrainian wine industry. It helped reveal to the world the diversity of Ukraine's wine taste and impress guests with its authenticity.

This event was attended not only by journalists and representatives of renowned gastronomic publications but also by diplomats, restaurateurs, and experts from the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV). Mr Jean Lanotte, the newly appointed Advisor of France on agricultural affairs in Ukraine, duly appreciated the excellent samples of Villa UA dry wine – Chardonnay Sauvignon. 

During the presentation, it was emphasized that this event is only the beginning; the next step is cooperation between the Ukrainian wine industry and the world. The goal: popularizing Ukrainian wines and promoting their export.

Taste can be stronger than words, and Villa UA wines are a living example that reflects the courage and will of our winemakers. Ukrainian wine, despite everything, multiplies its fame and enriches taste experiences. Villa UA has overcome all challenges and is ready to offer the world even more taste discoveries.

Thanks to the efforts of many people, Ukraine has the opportunity to export and present to the world its winemaking achievements under the name "Villa UA".
